|Description:||The DCRA Small Business Resource Center takes great pride in launching its first Senior Day Program. The event is scheduled to be held at the DCRA on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 9:00 AM. The objective is to provide seniors with information that may benefit them in their day-to-day lives. It’s unfortunate in modern life that many senior citizens are woefully unfamiliar with the structure and processes of basic information such as establishing a small business, vacant property, family rental, and the DCRA regulatory process. With its community outreach initiative, the DCRA Small Business Resource Center is seeking to disseminate information by hosting a number of monthly Senior Day Events designed to raise senior citizens interest in awareness. We encourage partnership with District and Federal government agencies to host monthly fairs for our senior community and to present information that would provide opportunity to learn about the many business and non-business issues particularly affecting them.|
